The preparation plan of the Second Kaohsiung Science Park of Southern Taiwan Science Park was ratified by the Executive Yuan in December 2019, with an the area occupying about 262 hectares, including 164 hectares for industrial use. The area was provided to the park enterprises for factory building since September 2022, to facilitate the upgrade of five major industries: semiconductor, aviation, smart machinery, precision health, and innovation industries. With the “Vision of Smart Taiwan 2030”, the goal is to upgrade local industries, integrate of online and offline technologies, and promote “AIoT” development to lead the way for Taiwan’s future and continuous industrial development.
